The client's brief arrived in one sentence: "I want to walk in and feel something."
Most briefs ask us to disappear. This one asked us to show up — and we accepted on the condition that every decision would be made with the same rigour we bring to our quieter projects. Bold is not the opposite of considered. Casa Soleil is the proof.
The living space sets the tone immediately. Amber ceiling, sun-bleached yellow walls, and Giallo Siena marble floors that throw Miami light back into the room in every direction. Against this warmth, a sage green sofa and ottoman hold the space with quiet graphic authority. Two globe pendants hover above the stair volume — clad in bookmatched Rosso Levanto marble, the one element in the project that genuinely surprises.
The bedroom is the counterpoint. Chartreuse walls the colour of new leaves after rain, linen bedding in tones pulled from the wall itself, a kentia palm casting shadows from morning until mid-afternoon. The arrival corridor connects both moods — amber deepening toward ochre, oversized tropicals at varying heights, a forest green accent wall that closes the perspective.
We did not soften this project. We designed exactly what the client asked for — a home that makes you feel something — and then we made sure it would still be doing that in thirty years.
